BaQi Sailing Club

Suzhou can be busy, noisy, intense. But did you know that we can escape the busy city life within the city, sailing the beautiful Jinji Lake that is in our backyard?

The BaQi Sailing Club has 5 j80 (9 meters) keelboats, located at the Marina at the East side of the Jinji Hu, near the Ferris Wheel Park..

The BaQi Sailing Club has several experienced sailors and offers a 8 x 2-hour sailing course.
As a newbie, you’re always welcome to join one of the skippers as crew. In a safe environment, you can try out different positions and tasks. The first time Try-Out is free or charge. After the Try-Out a “Come on Board Fee” is applicable. For people who do not have a membership but wish to join as crew, the fee is 300 RMB per person per trip (max 2 hrs – subject to availability of boat with skipper).

Membership fee: 12,800 RMB/person per year. Each member is allowed to take 1 person as crew on board when sailing, free of charge.

Every year, in fall, the BaQi Sailing Club organises a 2-days Jinji Lake Regatta.
